Director of Business Development

The Director of Business Development will have a proven track record in opening and closing large Fortune accounts. In addition, this team member will have a successful history in developing relationships and is comfortable conveying complex solutions to multiple levels of clients.

This role requires 25% travel and if not living within a reasonable commute from headquarters in Green Bay, WI, can work remotely from Milwaukee, WI, Chicago, IL, Minneapolis, MN, or Atlanta, GA. Upon hire, will also be required to attend training in Green Bay, WI for the first two to three weeks of employment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prospect, educate, qualify and develop targeted accounts and inbound leads
  • Build, strengthen and maintain positive business relationships by establishing rapport with customers
  • Develop and execute the optimal Breakthrough solutions for each prospect
  • Learn and understand the client benefits of Breakthrough service offerings
  • Maintains pipeline volume and service offerings by keeping current with the industry, changing trends and economic indicators
  • Collects, consolidates and prioritizes prospect feedback to incorporate into strategies and marketing initiatives
  • Support and implement marketing strategies
  • Support deep selling to existing clients

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience as a B2B sales professional
  • Experience in the fuel markets or supply chain preferred
  • Outstanding customer relationship management skills
  • Experience in sales, business development and/or customer relations
  • Ability to excel in a team environment
  • Track record of customer retention and relationship building
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25%
